The Parish Church
Remich’s parish church, which is registered as a national monument, catches the eye especially with its 12th century tower, which was originally built as a watchtower in the Roman era and reminds the visitor of Remich's old fortress. The church's patrons are Saint Stephanus and Saint Laurentius. On the property adjacent to the church, also listed as a site of historical interest and preservation, old graves are still visible such as the Lamort-Velter family’s grave who were known for their generous donations to the poor.
